Locating Manufactured Date with DOT Number on Tire

Tire date code:. The number following dot is 7der xet The date code following DOT doesnt seem to correspond with the date system you described. What does DOT 7der xet indicate for a manufacture date.

When reading the DOT number on your existing tire, you will want to look at the last four digits of the number, not necessarily the numbers or letters immediately following "DOT". There may be some letters and numbers between "DOT" and the date code.
I recommend checking your tire again to see what the last four digits are of the DOT code. This should be four numbers, the first two indicating the week and the last two referencing the year. For example, if the last four digits are "5107", this means the tire was manufactured during the 51st week of the year 2007.
