Clearance Dimensions of Draw-Tite Sportframe Class I Trailer Hitch 24848 on 2010 Scion xD
Question:
What is the difference between Item # 24828 and Item # C11491? Is it the height above the ground? Durability? etc. What is the distance from the center hole to the outermost edge of the rear bumper? I am planning to buy one for my 2010 Scion XD. Thanks.

The Class I trailer hitches # 24848 and # C11491 both fit your 2010 Scion xD and they share identical weight capacities. Both offer no-drill installation and include all required mounting hardware.
Since we have not had a chance to install both of these on your exact vehicle I cannot give you an iron-clad comparison of the hitch pin hole clearance, but what I can do is provide you with some measurements that may help.
We have the # 24848 in our warehouse so I measured the distance from the forward-most mounting hole (the one closest to the front of the car) down to the top of the hitch tube and rearward to the hitch pin hole. If you find the forward frame mounting hole on the car and use this as your reference point you can end up with a pretty good picture of where the hitch tube and hitch pin hole will be relative to the car bumper cover.
From the center of the forward-most mounting hole (see photo, please):
DOWN to the top of the 1-1/4-inch receiver tube the distance is approximately 1-3/4-inches.
REARWARD to the center of the hitch pin hole the distance is approximately 10-1/2-inches.
REARWARD to the end of the 1-1/4-inch receiver tube the distance is 12-1/2-inches.
