How to Determine if There will Be Room For B&W Companion Hitch in Bed of 2016 Ford F250 w Toolbox

Hello, I am thinking about purchasing the Item # BWRVK3500. I have a 2016 F-250 with a tool box in a 6 1/2foot bed. Will there be enough room for the handle to fully open? Thanks

From the center of the shank to each end of the base of the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500 is 18 inches. That means you would need to measure 18 inches from the center of where the gooseneck ball would be of the Turnoverball hitch part # BWGNRK1111 installed in your truck bed.

If that dimension does not interfere with your toolbox the hitch will fit with it.

The center of the gooseneck ball hole will be 46-1/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed. If you don't have the hitch installed already you can measure to the point in your truck bed and then measure 18 inches forward and you'd know this way as well.
