We have surge actuator couplers for drum-type brakes for both straight-tongue trailers and for a-frame trailers, for all three sizes of hitch ball and with or without a reverse lockout feature. We also have bolt-on and weld-on couplers. You will want to select your actuator coupler based on the trailer's gross weight rating (GTW). This will ensure sufficient hydraulic pressure to deliver the braking force required for the trailer's weight.

For instance, for a weld-on a-frame coupler with manual lockout rated for 6K you can use Titan # T2492800 which has a multi-fit feature enabling it to work with all three sizes of hitch ball. Or for a bolt-on straight tongue 7K coupler for a 2-inch ball you can use Demco # DM72VR.
