If you are receiving the ****ERROR**** "Auto Level Fail" LCD Message on for your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC358590 then that means it is either unable to auto level because of uneven ground or it is unable to auto level because the "Zero Point" has been set incorrectly.

If it is due to uneven ground then you will want to move your RV to a new location that is a little more level.

If it is due to to the Zero Point not being set correctly then you can follow the Zero Point Calibration steps which can be found in your copy of the owner's manual:

Zero Point Calibration

The “Zero Point” is the programmed point that the trailer will return to each time the Auto Level feature is used.

Note: Prior to starting this procedure, double check all connections on the controller, jacks, and touch pad.

1. In manual mode, run the jacks to level the trailer. This is best achieved by placing a level in the center of the trailer and leveling it both front to back and then side to side. (See “Basic Jack Operation” for instructions on how to manually operate the system).
2. Once the trailer is level, turn off the touch pad.
3. With the touch pad off, press and release the “FRONT” button five (5) times and then press and release the “REAR” button five (5) times.
4. The touch pad will flash and beep and the display will read “ZERO POINT CALIBRATION ENTER to set, Power to Exit”.
5. To set the current position as the zero point, press the “ENTER” button.
6. LCD display will read “Zero point stability check”.
7. LCD display will read “Zero point set successfully” once process is complete.
8. The system will set this point as its level state and the touch pad will turn off.

If you have a different error code just let me know and I can look into it for you.

My 2018 Wildcat 32 WB will not auto level from the mini control pad on the front outside of the trailer? Retract all works, but auto level just blinks red so all level functions have to be done from the inside control. From time to time nothing works until first using the main pad inside. This started several trip ago when the system went out of stroke on a wonky unlevel spot. How do I get the mini pad back in sync?

You may need to simply reset the mini control pad. Disconnect it from power at the back of the panel, let it sit for a few minutes, then hook it back up. Hopefully this resets the unit so it can sync up to the system. Let me know if this doesn't work.
