Skid Wheel Recommendation for 34 Foot RV That Bolt On
Question:
We have a very steep driveway. We are looking at purchasing a 3311inch Grand Design 5th wheel. Are there skid wheels designed for that length of travel trailer that are specifically made for or are better for known steep slopes? Also, what is the risk with bolting them and not welding them? It seems they would be easier to replace if needed if they werent welded. Thank you for your help!

For an RV 1 inch away from being 34 feet I would recommend the frame mount skid wheels for 34 foot RVs part # UF48-979013. This will work well with your steep driveway.
These are designed to have the plated welded to the frame and then the assembly bolted on like you mentioned wanting to do as well.
