Can Factory Roof Rails be Installed on a 2013 Ford Edge

Question:

I bought some factory roof side rails that run front to back . Are their holes already in the roof if not how hard is it to install

Installing the factory roof rails that run front to back for a 2013 Ford Edge that currently has a naked roof will require drilling. Since it's a factory rack I can't really say how labor intensive the install is. I would check with a Ford dealership.

Once you get the side rails installed you'll need cross bars as well. A great economical option are the Malone AirFlow2 Aero Crossbars # MPG216. They're 58 inch crossbars with a 165 pound capacity and include locks.

Did you install the factory rails and if so how difficult?

Unfortunately that's not something that we handle. Those side rails are typically factory components, so you may need to check with a local dealer (whichever make your vehicle is) to see how this could be done.
