Trailer Hitch Placement on a 2007 Honda Odyssey for a Thule Parkway Bike Rack
Question:
Looking to purchase a hitch to use on our 2007 Honda Odyssey and a Thule Parkway that was given to us. My issue is that we have a steep driveway and am afraid that the rack might scrape/drag. The TH956 has a short distance from the receiver hole to the cable locking eye good news but Im afraid that it may not be enough distance to clear the bumper. Will the Draw-Tite #75270 work well and have enough clearance from the bumper w/ the Thule TH956? I saw that it will w/ the 2006 and I dont think there is a differene for 2007 but want to confirm. Thanks!

From what I have been able to find, there will be a distance of 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the clear the bumper on your 2007 Honda Odyssey with Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75270, installed. The Thule Parkway measures 9-1/2 inches from pin hole to the back of the upright bar of the rack. So it will clear that 6 inches with some room to spare.
The 2005 to 2010 Honda Odyssey are all in the third generation of the vehicles life span with some minor changes in 2008 and 2009. So a 2006 and 2007 should pretty much be the same with only minor differences. I have included links to the installation details on the bike rack and hitch and a video review of the bike rack and installation video of the hitch.
