Availability of an A-Frame Coupler that will Fit a 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball
Question:
do you have this in 17/8 in/

Expert Reply:
We don't offer any A-Frame style couplers that are compatible with a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball.
The best bet if you're wanting to use a coupler like the # CA5100B you referenced would be to remove the 1-7/8 inch trailer ball you currently have and switch to a 2 inch ball. You'll want to make sure that the 2 inch ball you choose has a shank diameter that's compatible with your existing ball mount. 2 inch trailer balls are available with shanks measuring 5/8, 3/4, 1 or 1-1/4 inch diameter. You can see the 2 inch trailer balls we offer by using the provided link. Trailer balls are also available in differing capacities, typically the larger the shank diameter, the higher the capacity, so be sure to choose a ball with sufficient capacity for the weight of your fully loaded trailer.
