Solution for Carrying 4 Bikes with 2016 Honda Accord
Question:
I have Honda Accord 2016 and I need to carry 2 hybrid adult bikes and 2 kid bikes - total 4 bikes. Would it be a good option to buy: 1 Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class I - 1-1/4 Item # C11681 2 Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches Item # TH934XTR What is confusing to me - is a note for the bike rack: You can only carry 2 bikes when using a Class I trailer hitch. Is it a rack limit or trailer hitch limit? Is there any other hitch rack options for carrying 4 bikes? Thanks

To carry 4 bikes on your 2016 Honda Accord it is going to require you to install a roof rack to carry at least one of the bikes.
Class I hitches like what are available for your 2016 Honda Accord can only carry up to 2 bikes due to the weight and leverage of the bikes.
So most efficient solution is a trunk rack confirmed to fit that can carry up to 3 bikes and then a roof rack for the fourth bike. The Thule Passage part # TH911XT is a confirmed fit that would work well. See the install video I attached.
Then for a roof bike rack the part # RBC035 would be an excellent option.
Then for a roof rack the Rhino Rack part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK359 would be a great option.
