Recommendation to Transport Kayak on 2011 Toyota Tundra with BakFlip Tonneau Cover Installed

I am looking for a rack to hold my kayak for my 2011 Tundra. I have a backflip cover on now and would like to leave it in while I have my kayak rack mounted.

To transport your kayak on your 2011 Toyota Tundra with a BakFlip Tonneau Cover installed, I actually recommend looking at a load extender like the Rhino-Rack T-Load Load Bar # RTL002 as long as there is a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver on the truck. This hitch-mounted load bar will enable you to load your kayak onto it and the roof of the cab using a foam block kayak carrier like the Rightline Gear # RL100K10. The upright bar can telescope vertically from 42 inches to 64 inches.
I have attached the installation instructions and a video demonstration so you can see how exactly this system will work.
The issue with the BakFlip Tonneau Cover on your truck is how it installs and the space that it uses on the truck's side rails. There are certain tonneau covers that are compatible with specific ladder racks, but we have not yet found a ladder rack that is confirmed to work with the BakFlip without interference.
