Uninstalling Old Cam-Action Locking System on Trailer
Question:
Haulmark 2005 enclosed trailer. My cam locks were sawed through by a thief instead of cutting the locks. They were coming back evidently. I have new hasp/cam but cant get the two safety bolts undone. I have the sockets but they wont unscrew. Am I missing something? Thank you,

Sorry to hear about your trailer getting broken into. From the picture that you sent it looks like your problem is that your setup is a bit rusted. I recommend using the UltraLube Biobased Spray Lubricant and Penetrant to help loosen up the rusted bolts. You may want to try to spray some of the UltraLube into the bolt hole as you are loosening the bolt, and definitely after the bolt is removed. This should enable to you install your ned Cam-Action Kit, like part # PLR458-018.
You may also be interested in a monitoring system like the Swift Hitch Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor # SH02DIGITAL. The camera can be mounted using a magnetic or suction cup mount and has an 8 hour battery life so you can easily check on your trailer throughout the night. The night vision on the camera will let you see up to 15 feet away from where the camera is mounted. The Radio Frequency transmission can reach up to 300 feet away.
