Recommended Brake Mounting Flange To Welded On Brake Assemblies

RE:question-233584 6,000 lb assemblies These all appear to be bold on assemblys, The problem is. the current assembly appears to be welded on, not bolted. Am I miss understanding what I am seeing? Thanks

Thanks for the picture. Those assemblies look pretty rough and definitely need to be completely replaced, but are unlike anything I've seen. It looks like it was a custom job. I recommend removing them completely and having a professional welder add the Brake Mounting Flange for 3" Round Axle # 4-44-1 to your axle. This will need to be welded in place but will give you up to date braking assembly options that can be adjusted, and parts replaced as needed. I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA for your axles along with the Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12" Brake Assemblies # BRKH12 to mount them to the flanges.
