How to Measure RV to Find Correct Size Replacement 3-Step Stair Assembly

Question:

We have a 2017 Keystone Premier 26RB and need new stairs for it. Which one would be the replacement? The lowest step width measured about 24-7/8. The risers are 8.5inch and the tread width is 8.5. Thank you!!

RV makers typically do not maintain detailed specs on items like the step assemblies they install in production of their trailers like your 2017 Keystone Premier 26RB bumper-pull. Based on my research your OEM step unit was a 3-step manual type.

The easiest way to find suitable replacement steps is to measure the mounting hole spacing where the original steps are installed. The linked page displays all 3-step units, such as the Flexco # SMFP-3100.

This step assembly is 24-inches wide, very close to your dimension, so chances are your mounting holes will match one of the two hole spacing options provided on this step. This step's mounting holes are 25-3/8-inches apart on center from left to right, and either 5-1/2 or 7-inches apart front to back.
