Where exactly do you connect the brake actuator wire? I understand that it should be on the downstream side of the brake light switch. Can you be more specific as to the precise connection point?

I attached an install video that shows a controller like the P2 part # 90885 being installed on a 2016 Ford Transit Connect just like yours. If you use it as a guide it will walk you through the entire process. The wire color we found to be the correct one for your vehicle is the color purple.
