Exhaust Making Contact with Trailer Hitch on a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 2500
Question:
I am installing Curtis 13358 trailer hitch on 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500. Everything fits great except of the exhaust tip is resting on the top of trailer hitch. Any suggestions ? Do I need to cut the exhaust tip ?

You will not need to cut the exhaust tip on your 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 2500. There are some ways that you can adjust the exhaust to correct the issue so there is clearance between it and the hitch.
I have included a link to our help article that covers this topic. The fix could as easy as bending an exhaust hanger a little or, worse case scenario, a muffler shop could make adjustments. But cutting the exhaust is not something that you would have to do.
