Trailer Wiring Mounting Options for Curt Trailer Hitch # 15601 on a 2010 Ford F-250
Question:
My 2010 F250 has the stock 1250lb trailer hitch and I need to upgrade to the C15409 hitch. It does not have a bracket to mount the trailer wiring connector like the stock hitch does. What do you recommend to mount the connector after installing the hitch?

Expert Reply:
For the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 15601, for the 2010 Ford F-250, we have several trailer wiring connector mounting brackets that you could use. First, for a basic 4-Way flat, you can use bracket # 18144 and No-Drill Mount Bracket, Short, # 18140, or No-Drill Mount Bracket, Long, # C57202.
For a 7-Way, you can use either the short or long No-drill bracket, mentioned above, and Mounting Bracket, # PK12711U. Another option for the 7-Way would be 7-Way Trailer Connector Mounting Box, # 18159. I have included some video reviews for you to view as a reference.
