How to Determine What Sidewinder Pin Box Will Replace Older Pin Box On 1991 Fleetwood 5th Wheel

I need to order a sidewinder for my 91 Fleetwood fifth wheel. Vin # 1EK5N2625M24*****. What turret do I need.

I was unable to determine what pin box you have on your 1991 Fleetwood fifth wheel. Since Fleetwood stopped making trailers since 2009, there are a couple ways you can find out what Sidewinder would fit.

If there is a tag or sticker on the pin box you have that has the make and model, that would be the easiest way to see if we have a Sidewinder that will work.

If not then the only way to make sure you choose the right replacement is to take some measurements. I have attached a helpful article that explains how to identify and measure your pin box to see what matches the pin boxes on the included chart.

For example, if you find the pin box you have on your trailer is a Lippert 1621, the Sidewinder replacement pin box I recommend is part # RP34FR. If you want to take the measurements on your existing pin box and let me know what they are I will be glad to see if we have the Sidewinder replacement you can use.

One thing to note though. I see you have a gooseneck adapter attached to the fifth wheel pin box in the photo you sent. An adapter cannot be used with a Sidewinder on the trailer.
