The Curt Class II Receiver Hitch, part # 12027 bolts to the vehicle in 5 places. Once four of the bolts are in place, the hitch is used as a template to locate and drill the hole for the fifth bolt. No modifications to the bumper or frame are required, other than drilling the one hole to accept the 1/2 inch carriage bolts. A fish wire is provided to run the carriage bolts and block spacers into the vehicle frame.
