For your 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 90885 will be an excellent controller. I've attached an installation video for you on a 2012 model, but the installation will be the same. I've also attached an article to assist with your installation because you have the factory integrated brake controller. The instructions in the attached article will need to be followed to avoid a trip to the dealer. There should be no error messages displayed on the dash when installed correctly.
