Question:
Hi, We are interested in purchasing Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional for our 2013 Ford Flex SEL AWD. Can you tell me if the item 90195-22292 includes the unit and the wire piece located in the picture? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
For your 2013 Ford Flex with a factory 7-Way, the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 is a great choice. As you mentioned in your question, the Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 22292 is all that you will need to install the unit. One end of the adapter will plug into the controller and the other end will connect to the built-in harness beneath your vehicle's dash.
These are separate part numbers that are combined when going through the vehicle fit guide. You will need both part numbers to receive both the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller and the Custom Plug-In Wiring Adapter needed for installation.
I have attached the installation details for you to check out.
