For your 2017 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75950. This Class III trailer hitch is custom-fit for your Porsche and will provide a 2 inch receiver opening and a tongue weight capacity of 750 pounds. Keep in mind that some fascia trimming will be required during installation. I have attached the installation details for you to review.
If you do not already have a bike rack, I recommend looking at the Thule Apex XT 5 Bike Rack # TH9026XT. This is compatible with 2 inch hitch receivers and can hold up to 5 bikes with a total weight capacity of 150 pounds. The dual arms can fold down for convenient storage and the rack body can tilt forward to allow for easy rear cargo access. The rack featurs an integrated cable and hitch lock to help protect your investments.
I have attached a video demonstration on this rack as well as a link that will take you to our available selection of 5 bike racks for you to look through.
If you plan on carrying any children's, woman's or alternative frame bikes, you may need an adapter bar like the Kuat # UB01. This will provide a horizontal attachment point for level transport and increased ground clearance. I have attached a video demonstration on this product so you can see exactly how it works and why it might be needed.
