Tubular Half Door Recommendation for 2001 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I have a 2001 Jeep TJ wrangler and I see better looking tubular half doors for the newer 2007 or newer JK models. Minus any perfect fit issues with the latch, will newer half doors fit the door hinge pins size and location on this older 2001 jeep? I understand the TJs went until 2006 and then the design changed?

We have a Bestop tubular lower door that is a fit for your 2001 Jeep Wrangler. It's part # B5180901, but aside from that we can't recommend trying to fit a newer style door on your TJ.
