Available Safety Chain Hooks to Connect Chains to a Curt Gooseneck Ball and Hook Set
Question:
I purchased you curt ball and clamp set for my 2017dodge ram. The hooks on my lq horse trailer safety chains are too small. What do suggest

Expert Reply:
I recommend upgrading both the chains and hooks on your trailer, like # 49150.
Without knowing the capacity of your current chains, picking a replacement hook with the matching weight capacity will be impossible. Replacing the whole chains set will be the best option.
I have attached a link that will take you to our safety chain product page. Once you know what weigh capacity chain and hook you are needing for your horse trailer you can choose one from this page.
