Recommended Tow Bar Wiring, Fuse Bypass, And Braking System For 2017 Honda Fit Manual Transmission
Question:
do you need to pull fuses when installing the bx8869 wiring kit, can the bx8869 come with a 6 pin connector instead of a 4 pin connector, would like to add the rvi tow battery charger to the 6 pin connector to keep battery charged in Honda Fit while towing and utilizing the brk2019 braking system, the 6 pin connector would hopefully allow me to incorporate the bx8869 wiring kit and tow charger in one connector ? I do not see the brk2019 braking system on your website, what is the difference in the BLU37TR and the brk2019 ? do you sell this item? Whats the part number for the 7 wire to 6 wire flexo coil cable to connect 6 pin connector from Honda Fit to 7 pin connector on motorhome? Thank you

For your 2017 Honda Fit, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This system gives you the 6 way you are looking for and uses diodes to allow you to use your factory wiring in your vehicle while protecting it as well.
You will need the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass - 13" - 20-Amp Mini-Fuse # RM76511 or the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicle - (2) 20-Amp ATM Mini-Fuses # RM76512 depending on your specific needs.
The Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR is the same basic system as the Patriot III they recently came out with a new look. The new system seems to have a more proportional braking design for better function. You will need a 12V plug like # RM-9332 to power this system.
If you have further question, I'd be happy to assist.
