Can Curt Fifth Wheel Adapter Work On 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 With Factory Prep Package
Question:
I have a 2016 Silverado with the factory fifth wheel/Gooseneck kit installed. I am looking at the CURT 16K sliding hitch, but I have a concern about the hitch hitting my toolbox/transfer tank combo. How far past the from of the pucks in the bed does the hitch frame extend. In my 2008 I used a BandW Slider and never needed to slide it except to hook and unhook as the handle hit the toolbox. So, I am slightly torn on getting a sliding hitch to begin with.

When the Curt A16 Fifth Wheel Hitch # C16521 and the Adapter Rails # C16023 are installed in the bed of your 2016 Silverado, you will only need about 4 inches distance from the pucks to your toolbox.
I have attached a photo from one of our customers who installed the fifth wheel with the adapter in their truck. As you can see, the system works with their toolbox in the bed of the truck.
If you need a 7-way wiring harness in the bed of your truck I recommend part # 41157.
