Does etrailer Trailer Hitch for 2017 Toyota RAV4 Interfere with Hands Free Lift Gate
Question:
Hitch for 2017 RAV4 Hybrid Limited. For item # 75235 tech tip states: Hitch may interfere with the Hands-free Liftgate sensors and functionality may be very limited or possibly lost. Can you please confirm if this is a concern for 2017 model as we dont wanna lose liftgate functionality or if you have another hitch that does not have this issue?

For the etrailer Hitch part # e98864 that you referenced it's going to block a portion of the sensor but what you can do is kick your foot to either side of the hitch tube and the liftgate will open like normal.
I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
