Comparing The Aluminum Jaguar With Steel Spoke Galvanized Finish Wheels

Question:

in have a trailer that I pull behind my motorcycle. it has chrome wheels that would be similar to your #AM20134. I am looking to replace them. is there a difference in the offset between the AM20134 and the LH45FR?

Helpful Expert Reply:

The Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized Finish # AM20134 has a zero offset. The Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver # LH45FR also has the zero offset, so there is no difference between the two wheels in how far they sit from the axle hub face. The biggest difference between these wheels other than the aesthetic appeal is the load capacity. The Aluminum Hi-spec has a 270 lb higher load capacity.

Both of these wheels will have great corrosion resistance based on the material and finish.
