We have the parts you need to add a 7-Way trailer connector and a brake controller to your 2001 Toyota Tundra. The only thing about though is that they are hardwire installations since there isn't a confirmed plug and play option for the 7-Way or brake controller.
Since your truck already has the 4-Way that simplifies things a little. You will just need 2 parts. First you will need # ETBC7 which will add the 7-Way while retaining the 4-Way and provide the wiring and accessories to install a brake controller. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable making it one of the best-selling brake controllers of all time.
