Solution for Finding Stoplight Circuit for Brake Controller Install in 2010 Lexus RX350
Question:
Im installing a Tekonsha Voyager controller in my 2010 RX350. My problem is hooking up the brake switch sensing wire. It is near impossible to get your hands on it let alone attacha wire. Is there somewhere else to pickup that wire to hook in to it? I even thought maybe picking up the signal from a brake light at the back. Or is that wire somewhere else easier to get to? My other question is: is there a pigtailinch under the dash designed to plug into a brake controller? Thanks for any help

You can definitely use the third brake light circuit for the stoplight circuit for installing a brake controller. If finding the circuit at the brake pedal is too difficult that is an option. Or you can find the third brake light fuse under the hood of the vehicle and use a fuse tap to access it.
