Question:

Hello, I am looking to replace my brake assemblies on my horse trailer. The axles are torsion 2500 kg each 5500 lbs with 8 bolt 16inch rims. The trailer is 1991 16ft Wylee stock trailer built in canada. The bearing #s are 25580 zwz for the inside bearing, and the outside is 4t-14125A. Also the inside axle seal is CR 21352.

I have found a set of brakes assemblies that will fit your trailer.

I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit Self-Adjusting Assemblies, # AKEBRK-7-SA. These brake assemblies are packaged to fit on axle rated at 5.2K to 7K. These assemblies are very similar to the set that you referenced, but these are self-adjusting brake assemblies. These brake will only need an initial adjustment during installation and after that they will self-adjust under normal use.

I also recommend Bearing Kit, # BK3-310. This will include both inner bearing, outer bearing, and seal for one hub on your axle.

I also recommend # L11465 Wheel Bearing Grease, # L30200 grease gun( if you already do not have on) and # L70025 LubriMatic Bearing Packer when installing the wheel bearings.
