Comparison of Jounce-Style or Air Bag Suspension Enhancement

Expert Reply:
Jounce-style helper springs are easier to install than air bags since they're less parts involved. Also, once they are installed you basically leave them alone. Air bags need to have the air pressure monitored and changed according to the load that's being carrier. The jounce-style will not impact the ride quality unless there is load present.
The benefit of the air bags is that you can adjust them to your liking when you need to. If the weight in your truck varies on a regular basis this is good because you can change the air pressure based upon the weight in the truck. Where jounce springs are there to add support when the load is enough to engage them.
Air bags put you in control and are better for varying loads. Jounce springs are there when the load needs them.
On your 2015 Ford F-350 the jounce-style springs that fit are Timbren # TFR350SDF. If you prefer air bags Firestone # F2597 is confirmed to fit.
