Installing the Rightline Edge Rooftop Cargo Bag on a 2012 Honda CR-V With a Naked Roof

I have a 2012 Honda CRV. Naked roof mount. Are using clips or running the straps through the vehicle the best way to secure the roof bag?

To install the Rightline Edge Rooftop Cargo Bag # RL100A20 on the top of your 2012 Honda CR-V with a naked roof, it is best to run the straps through the CR-V's interior and then back out and around the carrier. Since your CR-V does not have a roof rack, this will be the best possible way to secure the cargo bag to your roof. You will want to make sure to check your owner's manual for your CR-V's roof weight capacity.
