Higher Speed Rated Tires for Small Trailer to Carry Motorcycles with 4.80-12 Sized Tires
Question:
I have a 1195 lb. Capacity 48 in. x 96 in. Heavy Duty Folding Trailer from harbor freight. It does great for what i need getting 1-2 motorcycles to the track, but id like to upgrade to higher speed wheels/tires. I was wondering what youd recommend as the best/most cost effective means to do this? i assume my best bet would be to replace the hubs+wheels? do you have any recommendations? Tires are 4.80-12 or 120/90-12 thanks!

The highest speed rating we have for 4.80-12 sized tires like yours is # TTWSF48012C which has an 81 mph rating. This is higher than many trailer tires.
They also have a Load Range C or 990 pounds at 90 psi. There won't be a need to replace your hubs or wheels but you may need higher rated valve stems if yours won't support the 90 psi. If you need them we have # AM20907 which are rated up to 100 psi.
