Hitch-Mount Electric Bike Carrier for Use in Class I Hitch
Question:
Hello, I have a Mazda protégé and 2 electric bikes Sanders thin that are around 45 pounds each. I would like to install a hitch bike rack. The weight limit on the racks I looked at seems pretty small. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you!

We have several options in a hitch-mount platform-style bike carrier that can handle the higher weights of electric bikes, such as the Thule Easy-Fold # TH903202 which fits both 1-1/4-inch Class I and Class II hitches and also 2-inch hitches.
The Easy-Fold handles 65-lb bikes, tire widths to 3-inches, includes a stow-able loading ramp and is fairly lightweight at 45-lbs. It is packed with helpful features you can see in the linked video.
