How Does Replacement Truxedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fastener # TX1117876 Install
Question:
2012 GMC SIERRA 2500 DENALI. MY QUESTION IS, HOW DOES THIS FASTEN TO THE BED RAIL? IS IT HELD THERE WITH SELF STICKING ADHESIVE? OR DOES IT SLIDE BETWEEN GROOVES? I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK AND IT ALREADY HAD THE COVER AND THE VELCRO IS NO LONGER HOLDING. THE CURRENT APPLICATION IS A HOOK AND LOOP SYSTEM WITH THE HOOK PART SLIDING INTO GROOVES ON THE PART THAT ATTACHES TO THE SIDES OF THE BOX. AGAIN, IM LOOKING FOR THE HOOK PART THAT SLIDES IN THE CHANNEL IN BETWEEN 2 GROOVES. THANK YOU

Replacement Truxedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fastener # TX1117876 slides into the bed rail channels for the Tonneau cover. It isn't an adhesive-backed model so based on your description this is the correct replacement.
