Axle Kits with Height Drop that Include Hubs & Electric Brakes for Stealth 10x12 Enclosed Trailer
Question:
Does this part come in a 4in down version?

We do not have a beam axle kit with brakes that has 4-inches of drop, but we do offer a version of the Timbren axle-less trailer suspension design that does. 3500-lb-rated kit # A35RD545E includes two bolt-on (or weld-on, if you prefer) suspension units complete with electric drum brakes and 5-on-4-1/2-inch bolt pattern hub/drums. This kit provides 4-inches of drop to lower your trailer deck height while improving ground clearance. Plus you get an independent suspension.
The Timbren Axle-Less suspension system may require additional support on your trailer. If your trailer does not have a cross member above the spot where you want to install the Timbren system, you may need to reinforce the frame. You can accomplish this three ways. First, you can retrofit the trailer with a cross member. Second, you can build out the trailer frame. Third, you can use standard, 2-inch steel tubing to connect the 2 Timbren suspensions together using the built-in square hole on each unit.
You will need a trailer brake controller like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 to activate the electric drum brakes. The linked article concerning adding electric brakes to a trailer will be of interest.
