Once the E-Track Wood Beam Socket for Standard 2" Lumber - Qty 1 # 59149 has a beam screwed in at both ends, it cannot be removed without unscrewing the wood beam. The beam would need to be lifted straight up and out of the hanger to allow movement and then be screwed back in place in its new location.
You will be able to use the same piece of lumber cut to width over and over again, but it will need to be removed to change location of the hangers in the track.
