Availability of a Trunk Mounted Bike Rack to Fit a 2013 Ford Escape Titanium

Question:

i found 4 or 5 trunk bike racksfor my 2013 ford escape titanium. then i read that there are no racks for the 2014 titanium.....so i am relunctant to buy any racks for my 2013 titanium. what can i do ?

We carry a variety of trunk bike racks that fit both the 2013 and 2014 Ford Escape Titanium models. However, the largest carrying capacity is 3 bikes.

One of our most popular 3 bike racks is the Yakima Fullback Bike Rack, # Y02633. The FullBack
is a light weight rack that will mount to the rear of both the 2013 and 2014 Escapes. The rack uses 4 cam-buckle style straps and a padded upper cross bar for protection against the Escapes rear window. The only issue with using this or most trunk mounted racks on the Escape is you cannot use the rear wiper if rack is installed.

If you are planning on carrying alternative, woman's or a child's frame bike, then I recommend the Kuat Ubar Adapter, # UB01. The adapter will provide a horizontal bar to allow you to mount these frame types to a hanging bike rack.

None of the trunk racks we carry for any model vehicle can carry more than 3 bikes. Any amount of bikes over 3 would be too much stress on a rack and the rear of the vehicle.
