Recommended BoatBuckle Ratcheting Straps to Hold a 2012 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW
Question:
Which ratcheted tie down would be applicable for a 2012 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW?

Expert Reply:
The BoatBuckle Ratcheting Straps that I recommend for your application is the G2 Retractable Transom Tie-Downs # IMF08893. Their Safe Working Load Limit is 833 lbs for each one, which will be more than enough to secure your 2012 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW since the tie downs are use to keep your stationary boat from moving; not to stop a moving load. Their Maximum Load Strength (or Break Strength) is 2,500 lbs each.
From the picture that you sent (which is always appreciated), it looks like you should be able to mount the G2 tie-downs on the mounting bracket that is right under your boat trailer's tail light. You want to try to make sure that the strap won't be rubbing against any surfaces while in use so as to get a longer life out of them. If you are having a hard time mounting at an appropriate angle, you can use the Mounting Brackets # IMF14254 to do so. If the straps will be making contact with your boat anywhere you can use the Protective Boat Pads # IMF13180 to help avoid damaging your boat.
