Installing Tow Ready Mounting Bracket with Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness and 4-Pole Flat Connector

Can I use the 56083 with the 18144 without cutting the harness?

When using the Tow Ready Mounting Bracket # 18144 to mount the 4-way trailer connector from the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 56083, you should not have to cut the harness in any way. After installing the mounting bracket, you will simply route the 4-way through the bracket opening and input the cap on the end of the connector. The opening on the bracket is 1-3/8 inches in length horizontally. You can use the bracket along with the short bracket # 18140 for a no drill application.
