Troubleshooting 4-Pole Wiring Installation in 2012 Nissan Frontier
Question:
C56225 2012 Nissan Frontier Connected but not working

If you installed Curt T-Connector wiring harness and relay kit # C56225 in your 2012 Nissan Frontier and have no signals at all at the 4-pole connector you will want to make sure the relays are all fully seated in the harness and that the harness is properly connected at the mating connector behind the passenger kick panel. You also want to ensure the other harness with the 4-pole trailer connector is properly connected at the grey frame rail connector.
Please refer to the linked installation video which illustrates both harness' connections. It also shows how to test with a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
Also check to make sure there is no corrosion on any of the vehicle connectors. The frame plug should have a protective cover over it, but it is still possible for moisture to work its way in. You can try a spray-on electrical contact cleaner if you find corrosion and once cleaned protect those connections with dielectric grease # 11755 which will keep out moisture.
