Should Bolts be Tightened Down Completely on Leaf Spring Hangers
Question:
I have attached a picture of a trailers leaf spring hangers. Some bolts are seated completely, other are not. Is this correct of should all be tighted down completely.

I definitely recommend pulling the bolts in until the head is flush with the hangers on your trailer's suspension. It's possible everything will work okay as they are now, but to be safe all the bolts should be tightened down completely. Even when tightened down, there will be some necessary movement there, but you will still want it as secure as possible.
