2004 Porsche Cayenne S Brake Controller Recommendation

Question:

I have a 2004 Porsche Cayenne S with a factory installed trailer hitch with a 7-way connector for the lights. Ive been towing a small trailer without electric brakes, but will now be towing an Airstream requiring an electric brake controller. Can you please recommend a controller and any necessary wiring or harnesses I will need. Thanks

Since hardwiring a brake controller to a 2004 Porsche Cayenne can be a bit complicated (see FAQ link), your best option would be the RF brake controller part # TK94FR. This only requires the 12 volt power circuit of the 7-way be completed. This is the pin on the 5:00 position. It will need to have voltage at all times.
