Regarding folding hitch mounted cargo carriers like a Curt C18151. Can the vehicle be driven on the road with the carrier folded in the up position, unloaded or is this for parked conditions only? ? Vehicle is Toyota 13 RAV 4

Expert Reply:
The Curt Carrier for 2 inch Hitches, part # C18151, can be store in the folded-up position while you are traveling. As long as you have a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver on your 2013 Toyota Rav4, like part # e98864, this cargo carrier will be a great accessory to use with your Rav4.
To secure your cargo carrier to your trailer hitch receiver and to help eliminate any play, I recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 by Let's Go Aero.
