Will Using a Resonator Exhaust Tip Keep Exhaust Note Deep and Loud on a 1993 Olds Cutlass Ciera
Question:
I just installed a thrush straight pipe glasspack exhaust on my 93 olds cutlass ciara would this tip give me more noise and keep the same deep tones that I want? if not what tip would you suggest?

Changing the muffler will make the biggest impact to the exhaust note on a vehicle. Since you have installed a straight pipe glass pack muffler, which is one of the louder options but not necessarily the most deep and throaty sounding option, an exhaust tip won't make much difference in my opinion. With that said if anything is going to make a difference it would be a resonator tip such as # PM-5104. It is a good investment either way since it is stainless steel and resists corrosion naturally compared to plain steel.
