Is Drilling or Trimming Required to Install Trailer Hitch in a 2007 Volvo V70
Question:
I am looking at a hitch for my 2007 Volvo V70R. It appears that this hitch would not require cutting/notching my rear bumper during installation. Item # is C12318. Could you please confirm that cutting/notching the bottom edge of the bumper would not be required during the installation of this hitch?

I checked the install instructions for the Curt hitch part # C12318 which is a confirmed fit for your 2007 Volvo V70 and there is no drilling or notching/trimming at all needed to install the hitch.
Basically you just install the hitch between the exhaust hanger bracket and tow hook bracket on the frame of the vehicle without any drilling.
