Why Would Trailer Brakes Apply as Turn Signal of Trailer is Used
Question:
I have a 7 pin rv plug and no green wire but I have a red wire, when I signal the brakes come on. Help?

If when you apply the turn signal your trailer brakes are coming on that indicates that your turn signal circuit is shorting out to the brake output circuit or has been directly ran to it.
What you would need to do is check out the diagram I attached and wire your trailer by function using the diagram as a guide.
