When the green light on the Tekonsha Voyager Brake Activator, # 39510, remains constantly lit when the trailer is not connected it means that the brake controller is sensing a load on the blue brake output wire. This usually occurs when corrosion is present inside the trailer connector. You will need to check the pins as well as the wiring in the back of the plug for corrosion and dirt and clean it out.
A quick way to determine if the problem is with the wiring is to disconnect the blue wire from the back of the controller. If the green light goes out after the wire is disconnected then you know there is a problem along the blue wire somewhere between the controller and the 7-Way. If the light stays on then there is a problem with the internal circuitry of the brake controller and it will need to be replaced.
