Are Trailer Tire And Wheel Combinations Balanced And What About Date Codes?
Question:
Are your tire and wheel packages balanced? I know you can not tell me exactly, but roughly what can I expect the date code to be, 6, 12, 18 months old?

The tire and wheel combinations like # TA24VR are balanced as far as trailer tire balancing goes, which is different from vehicle tire balancing. With trailer wheels and tires, there is a high spot and a low spot that are labled and placed opposite to balance the tire and wheel. There is not turning for trailer tires, so they have a stiff side wall and are balanced differently due to the way they are made. The combinations come ready for you to inflate to max tire pressure and install...nothing further required.
As far as the date codes, it depends on the combination you choose. We rotate our stock so they don't sit extremely long, however they are stored in a warehouse that is climate controlled and without UV rays beating them down. The warranty on the tires doesn't begin at code date, it begins when they are installed so you don't have to worry about degraded tires and lack of warranty.
